All Ireland Intermediate Final
Kilkenny v Antrim

Kilkenny take on northern opponents Antrim in the Intermediate All Ireland Final on Sunday 12th September in Croke Park at 2pm
Both teams had two wins and a defeat in the group stages and they met in the first round with the Saffrons coming out on top by four points, then Kilkenny defeated Kilkenny 2-24 to 1-7 and Cork 2-7 to 0-9. Antrim then lost to Cork 2-11 to 2-14 and defeated Kildare 3-16 to 1-7
Kilkenny topped the group and went straight into the Semi Final. Antrim coming second in the group, qualified for a quarter final against Kerry winning 4-19 to 1-7
Kilkenny defeated Meath in the semi final 0-13 to 0-9, Antrim defeating Galway 2-13 to 1-13
Kilkenny will be going for their third Intermediate title, having previously won in 2008 and 2016. Antrim are going for their first Intermediate title, but have two titles in 2001 and 2003 when it was named the Senior B Championship
