A starring role from Orla Hanrick helped Dicksboro get the better of Tullaroan and reach the Senior Camogie County Final

Hanrick helped herself to 11 points as the city side lead from the off in Callan on Sunday

They made a fast start going ahead when Hanrick converted an early free

Tullaroan drew level soon after, courtesy of an Eadaoin Murphy point, but they were in trouble when Dicksboro plundered a seventh minute goal. Jenny Clifford caught a great Kate Dempsey clearance and laid it off to Ciara Phelan, who slotted it home past the Tullaroan goalkeeper

The girls in white with green sash hit back, firing over two points through Niamh Dowling (free) and Miriam Walsh to leave the score at 1-1 to 0-3 after 17 minutes

Both sides had to endure difficult weather conditions but the Boro had sharpshooter, Orla Hanrick. She scored two points from placed balls in the 18^th & 19^th minutes.

With 10 minutes remaining in the first half, both sides keenly traded scores. The city side hit three points from Orla Hanrick (two frees) and Jenny Clifford while two Niamh Dowling frees, plus points from play from Eadaoin Murphy and Noelle Maher saw Tullaroan close to within a goal by half time (1-7 to 0-7)

That was as close as they would get, however, as the ‘Boro hit 1-3 without reply to sprint ahead. Sisters Orla and Lisa Hanrick did the damage, the former shooting two points while the latter bagged 1-1, the goal coming via a defensive deflection

The country side tried hard to get back into the match and had a point tacked on by Noelle Maher and a goal scored by Ciara Murphy on the 50^th minute.

However, the city side finished out strongly. Three more points from Orla Hanrick (two frees) and Caoimhe Dowling did the trick, shooting them into a county final
