Senior Manager Steps Down

Fintan Deegan has announced his resignation as Kilkenny Senior Camogie Manager today. Kilkenny County Board would like to place on record the huge effort and dedication he has made to Kilkenny Camogie over the past year, not only Fintan but his whole backroom team, they have been a pleasure to work with all year.
In a statement sent to the Chairman this afternoon from the Manager it reads,
” I would like to thank Kilkenny county board and clubs for ratifying me for a further 3 years as manager of the Kilkenny Senior Camogie team. It is with regret that I will not be in the position to take the post due to family and work commitments. I would like to thank everyone that has helped and supported me in 2015. my selectors James Quinlan and Liz Dempsey, Strength and conditioning coach Dermot McGill and physio Thomas Manton.
I wish Kilkenny camogie all the best in the future”.
A meeting of the executive officers will take place next Tuesday Night to discuss a successor.
