Kilkenny Camogie is Going To The Dogs
by Administrator on the 11th of June 2015
Camogie in Kilkenny caters for over 4,000 players around the county. In addition we have eleven county teams who take part in competitions throughout the year. The County teams have been successful in recent years. The Minor team won the All Ireland Final 2015 making it 6 titles in 10 years while the U16’s and U14 Camogie Academy also won their Leinster Finals and more recently the Seniors and Intermediate teams won their respective Leinster Final and we hope to emulate last year by contesting the Senior and Intermediate Finals in Croke Park. Last year was the first time in our history that we contested the Senior and Intermediate final the same day.
As you can imagine looking after so many teams is expensive and we are very much appreciative of your ongoing financial support especially in these recessionary times.
To help Kilkenny Camogie keep running we have arranged a Benefit night in Kilkenny Greyhound track on Friday night 10th July. Its going to be a greats night entertainment and their is also a fabulous Holiday to Turkey as the
door prize. Tickets only cost €10 and can be brought from any member of the county board or from your club secretary.
