Meet & Greet Our County Stars

Hi Everyone,

Next Tuesday, 9th June, we are hosting a ‘Meet and Greet’ event in Larchfield at 7pm. This is to launch the Liberty Insurance All Ireland Championships for our Senior and Intermediate teams. This is also an opportunity for all our young players to meet our Adult players and to try to generate some interest in the All Ireland Series. On the night, we are asking the Seniors and Intermediates to bring a ‘Buddy’ from their club.This should be an u11 player. The adults will play a short training match and be cheered on by their Buddy and then the child will play a match and be mentored by their Buddy. If a club has no-one on the county panels, please feel free to send in an u11 and a ‘Buddy’ will be assigned to them. Please get both buddies to wear a club jersey on the night as this provides great colourful photo opportunities and we plan to have Press photographers there on the night. We are also in discussion with Irish TV to come along.

We would love to see lots of young players from every club as oftentimes, the Camogie players do not get the recognition they deserve for all the work they put in. There will be a free raffle on the night for all who attend with some wonderful prizes, including some Kilkenny Camogie Tops from Intosport, a pair of Cairde season tickets and some sliotars. Please encourage as many as possible to attend
