Fundraising

It is a huge privilege and honour to have two teams playing in Croke Park on All Ireland finals day on the 11^th September. With almost eighty people involved in this, preparing and providing for this day does not come cheap. With this in mind, we have launched various plans to raise these much needed funds.

Each player was asked to secure just one sponsor and we would like to publicly acknowledge and thank each and every one of them who all bought into the idea and none returned empty-handed. We are extremely grateful to all our sponsors, especially Glanbia our main Inter-County Team sponsor.

Our Drive-In bingo was held on Friday, 2^nd September and while it was a big success, it was just one part of our major fund-raising drive. Thanks to all who came along and supported this, and also to KCLR who were very instrumental in setting it up. Thanks also to Br. Damien in the CBS for all his assistance.

We have a raffle with a first prize of a holiday to the value of €2000, thanks to Marble City Travel for organising this for us. Lines are just €2 each and these, or even cards to sell are available from any member of Kilkenny Executive.
